Long before River Valley Farm Toys became a global name in pedal tractor attachments, the foundation was laid in the lawn and garden equipment industry. In 2009, I opened my first shop as a part-time business, dedicated to repairing and servicing equipment during evenings and weekends.
As my career progressed into the manufacturing and warehousing sectors, I spent years mastering the complexities of logistics and warehouse management. These years were more than just a job—they were a training ground. I was honing the skills necessary to build a world-class online retail operation that could handle heavy, high-value parts with precision.
A Full-Time Commitment
In 2017, I took the leap into the lawn equipment salvage business full-time. By 2019, our growth required a dedicated space, leading to the construction of our 3,200-square-foot shop and warehouse facility. This facility remains the heart of our operations today, allowing us to combine dealership-level knowledge with industrial-scale logistics.
The Transition to Farm Toys
While our focus has shifted to the manufacturing of premium pedal tractor toys and attachments, the standards we set during our years in salvage remain unchanged. The same pride we took in identifying and shipping quality mower parts is the same pride we take in every toy that leaves our facility.
